Does L1 stay counted for 6 Yrs' stay in the US?

Hi,

I am on H1 visa and have stayed in the US for 2 years on L1 immediately prior to that.
Since a person can stay in the US for 6 Years on H1, I want to know if this 2 years' period (on L1) is counted against 6 Years?

yes.. the 2 years will be counted towards the 6 year period
