Hi,
I'll be completing my 6 years on H1b in Jan. 2006. I haven't started my green card process yet, but I'm in a process to start my labor thru current employer by deadline date in Jan 2005. Our company's attorney is saying that we can only file Labor in non-RIR if we want to meet the deadline.
I believe it takes at least 2-3 months to prepare for RIR labor certification.
Then my attorney says that once we submit labor cert. application to DOL before deadline date, we can file another application to DOL in PERM category.
I need advice from you folks on what my attorney is saying or if we have to go thru different route?
