My employer filed my perm on 12/31/2009 and just now I came to know that my perm got denied as there was a typo error in the city field of the application. Instead of Pittsburgh, the street name got entered in that field. My lawyer suggested to file a motion for reconsider. My questions are:
1) What is the possibility of the motion getting successfully and application getting cleared in such cases? Or is it the trend that once perm gets rejected, it will get rejected again and again?
2) Suppose the perm gets accepted on motion of reconsider , does it impact other steps?
3) Could there be any other reason for denial? As in, is that that my application did not go through all the stages of verification that DOL does and got denied in the first stage?
3) What other options I have? One is that I refile petition, that way I will loose my priority date.
