Hi
Can someone please give some details on PERM. Just about to begin with my GC & the lawyers view is to file regular case now rather than waiting for
PERM as PERM is completely untested. Until the interpretation and trends
are seen with PERM, it is better to be under the old system where one would
be safe in case PERM ends up not being advantageous.
Does anyone know the merits demerits? Pl let me know

Hi
The only merit with PERM is that within two months you will know the result of your labor application process. Unlike the old process where applications are pending since past 3-4 years.
The demerits are like any new system, its untested, stringent in the process.
