Hi All,
I have completed 2 yr PGDM degree in Finance from an Indian Autonomous Management Institute. It’s not IIM/IIT but within top 50 colleges in India. Before that I completed 4 year B.Tech degree from India. However, the educational evaluator at my employer’s immigration team is not recognizing the PGDM degree as US Master’s equivalent. They are doing it as per the EDGE database which is supposedly used heavily by USCIS.
Have any of you faced similar issues and is there a way out?
This issue is so frustrating because even IIM management also gives PGDM to students!
