Please excuse if this has been answered already!
I had both my perm and I140 approved (it has been more than 6 months since my I140 approval).
For the perm, I never received a hard or a soft copy of the 'perm approval document' (although there was an email from my employer that the perm application with the particular case number was approved after which my employer filed my I140).
For the I140, my employer emailed me a copy of the I140 approval notice.
What I would like to know is, will there be any time the perm approval document would be required in the future when I change employers or for any other USCIS / DOL related activity (for example when a new employer files a new perm, new I140, or a I-485 [by which time I would be having a new perm from a different employer but whether this old one is also required] etc.)?
If not having a copy of the perm approval will affect me somehow in the future, please let me know whether there is any process to obtain it (if in case my previous employer does not share it for any reason then what my other options are... as in via a USCIS request by submitting a form for example).
