This is my first post of the forum so hopefully I have posted enough information for those who are trying to answer my question.
I have a H1-B and my employer is getting me a green card under the EB3 category. We just finished the job posting and interview process. The company lawyer has drafted the letter of experience for my previous employers to sign. The problem is my previous employers don't exist anymore.
The company lawyer suggested me to print the letter with the previous employer letterhead, and find someone I used to work for to sign it (and putting the current date.) That way the letter will look like it was issued by my previous employers. To me this is a big no no because the companies don't exist anymore.
Would someone please suggest me what I can do to produce the necessary documents?
TIA,
P.
