Hi,

My 6 year term for H1 is ending my July 2012, but i currently have visa only till Nov 2011.

Can someone help me clarify below

1. Is it possible to file PERM by June 2011 considering that i have 365 to July 2012.

2. 1. Is it possible to file PERM by June 2011 considering that i my current visa is expiring by Nov 2011.

3. By when should i apply for H1 extension? i know i can apply before 6 months but what is the maximum possible date i can wait before i have to apply for H1B extension?

What are the complications i will face.

Yes, you can apply for perm based on *actual* 6 year completion. Your H1b extension can be requested upto 6 months before expiration. You can also recapture any period spent outside US on vacations etc.

Per filing takes atleast 60 days of prep time (30 for advertising, 30 for collecting replies). Keep that in mind.
