EB2 or EB3?

My employer is willing to do GreenCard sponsorship but my lawyer created a job description which requires Master's degree or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience.

I have master's degree in computer science but lawyer said he could only do in EB3 beacuse prevailing wage is too high for EB2 compared to my current salary.

I haven't talked to my manager and HR but how do i convince them to fillup in EB2 rather than EB3?.

Sugesstions please.

If your job requires only BS+2 and if your salary is too low for EB2, you can't apply in EB2. You must apply in EB3.

What is the cap?

Do we know what is the current wage cap for EB2? Somebody told me that it has been raised to 100K. Is it true?

There is no such fixed amount as $100k.

It is whatever the prevailing wage is.
