My husband and I are Indian citizens residing in the US on L1/L2 visa respectively. Our visa expires in Sept 2013 and we will be renewing it at a US consulate in India in July 2013.
En route to India we are interested in visiting France, Switzerland and Italy for tourism for about couple of weeks. We will be heading to India for US visa renewal after this visit. Do we still need to possess valid US visa and US resident status at least 3 months after the last day of stay in the Schengen area as stated here [url] We will however have valid US visa and resident status at the time of applying for Schengen visa and also during the entire course of stay.
