Dear Members,
My German Business visa application was dated 06th February 2013. It was turned down on 14th February 2013 by the Visa Officer and the documents were collected by me at the Embassy of Germany in Colombo on 15th February 2013. Refusal letter says that the information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable and my intentions to leave the territory of the Member states before the expiry of the visa could not be ascertained.
I am an engineer by profession and completed my Master degree in the United Kingdom. I have started my career as a consultant in the year of 2008 as “xxxxx Educational Consultants” .I have applied for Business Visa to attend an Education Fair in Cologne, Germany. I am privileged to mention of wealth of myself which stands to over Rs. 35 Million (Evidence Given with the Application).
Further, I wish to mention the following facts with regard to my Economic, Social & Family Ties in Sri Lanka.
I have businesses registered on my name as follows, (Evidence Given with the Application)
xxxxxx Educational Consultants , xxxxxx – Proprietor
xxxxxx Educational Consultants, xxxxxx - Proprietor
xxxxxx Trading (Pvt) Limited - Director
I am a frequent traveler to the United Kingdom and my current UK visa expires in 30/07/2013 which was only issued by the UK Embassy a week before my German application was submitted. I was planned to travel from Sri Lanka to Germany on 17th February, 2013 and leave from Germany to London on 27th February, 2013. Return from UK is scheduled on 02nd of March, 2013. Therefore, it is pretty obvious that I have clear intention to leave the Germany before the expiration of my intended stay in Germany.
As a leading Education Consultant in Sri Lanka, we are currently representing many universities and colleges around the globe. The intention to attend this education fair is purely to make collaborations with German Educational Institutions and to learn about the German Education System and simply nothing else. I have provided the proofs of Agreements and Representative Certificates of education providers around the globe to show with whom we are currently dealing with.
my previous travel history to the United Kingdom, which will give an impression to anyone that I have complied the visa regulations of the UK and never been over stayed or stayed beyond the period of my intended stay stated in my visa application. They were always 10 days and maximum of 3 weeks.
I am a Married Peron and I have a kid. My marriage and birth certificates which were submitted with the application.
I am capable of shouldering my expenses which could incur during my entire journey. Bank statements and balance confirmation letters issued by the banks ( Current A/C's from 2 banks).
As soon as, I received my refusal notice, I've contacted the German Embassy stating the fact that the refusal is unfair. They have requested me to provide a letter to them so that the visa officer may have a look and if possible to overturn the decision. My question is whether it is possible?
