Medical insurance requirements for tourist Visa to Europe

I am an Indian citizen currently residing in the USA, travelling to Europe for 3 weeks for a vacation. I am in the USA on H1-B Visa. I was looking at the requirements for Schengen visa which specifies the requirement of a travel insurance. I will be visiting my friends in Europe for 26 days.
What would be the insurance I should be taking which satisfies all the requirements of the German Schengen Visa ?
