I am currently working in USA, and traveling to my home country India via Frankfurt airport. My legal status in USA is H1 visa and I am visiting home country for stamping. But my passport has USA F1 visa stamped which is not expired. In this case, do I need a transit visa for travel via Frankfurt airport? In short, I have an un expired US visa but legal status has been changed, and question is if I need a transit visa for my travel.
I did ask Lufthansa Airline and they said I should check with Germany Embassy. (Consulate).
