Tourist Schengen visa - swiss embassy

Hi,

I am traveling along with my friends to Europe. As one of the requirements says, your name should be there on all the reservations eg hotel, vehicle etc.

We hired a car but my friend will be driving it. On the car reservation confirmation, it shows on my friend's name.

Will it be a problem for me to get the visa as my name is not on car reservation confirmation???

Also, do I need to show my wife's bank statements also (along with mine)???

You can take a copy of your friend's rental car reservation, and maybe a copy of his passport and ticket to prove he's travelling too.
