Hi all,
I am an Indian national residing in United states on a work visa and have a full time job. I am planning on going for a Eurotrip in September for the first two weeks. I am planning on applying in the dutch consulate for the same. One of the requirement as per the consulate website (rsonac.org) is that the applicant show hotel reservations for the period of stay in the Schengen area. My port of entry and exit is going to be Amsterdam. But I am planning on visiting multiple countries during that period. I have various questions regarding the same:
1) Do I have to show hotel reservations for each of the countries that I plan on visiting or just Netherlands?
2) After I receive the schengen visa stamp on my passport, is the reservation still required to be shown at the port of entry or can i decide to choose to stay elsewhere and cancel the previous reservation that I showed in myvisa interview? In other words, is it ok to NOT have any reservations when I enter amsterdam?
Any help appreciated,
Thanks.
