    Exceeding period of stay

    Hello,

    I have a Schengen visa for a period of stay of 30 days. I entered Italy on july 31 and will leave Finland on August 29, but I will stop in Copenhagen for 16 hours and will take my plane home on August 30. Will that be exceeding the period of stay?...if yes, then what happens? will I be fined or will if be banned from entering the Schengen area again?
