Need advice. I'm travelling to Germany for a 1 week long conference for which I've received the invite. But post the conference I want to spend the next week travelling across the Schengen countries. I've seen a case where a colleague wanted to do something similar but he only got Schengen for 1 week and not more than that. Any idea if this is generally the case? And how do I go about it so I get at least 2 weeks of Schengen VISA?
