    Visa and i-797 expired, under extension. Possible to get Schegen visa from US?

    Hi,

    My H1-B and work permit expired in Sep 2015 and is under extension since but is not approved yet.
    I want to go back to India with a stopover in Europe for a few weeks.

    Is it possible to get Schegen visa in USA with the work permit extension pending?
