    Residence permit expired in March 2016 - Apply for Schengen tourist visa in July 2016

    My residence permit expired in March 2016 and returned back to my home country in March.Now i want to travel around Europe and i am planning to go back in July 2016.How will the 180 days rule will apply here ? I will not be able to apply for visa until September 2016.Can someone please confirm ?
