Okay so I have two major questions but before that I want to tell you something about me so it would help you understand what I’m trying to look for/ask for.
I’m an Indian Citizen. I study in the USA (San Fransisco) with an F-1 visa.
So, I completed my 12th grade in India and now I’m doing my bachelors in the USA (I’m a undergrad). I have completed one year of studies in the USA (in college).
My girlfriend is German (Native) and I visited her this summer and I’m planning on moving with her to Germany and studying with her in Germany. So I’m looking for colleges in Germany.
My question is:
I don’t know German so I will be going to Germany to do my Language Course and then my university after that. According to the German Visa page (http://www.germany.info/contentblob/...uageCourse.pdf) they say “c) Language Course Visa - you wish to do a language course in Germany. NB: A Language Course Visa cannot be converted into a Study Applicant Visa or Student Visa in Germany. Should you plan to study at a German university immediately after your language course has finished you must file an application for a Study Applicant Visa or Student Visa right away (these cover both the language and university course). Otherwise you will have to return to the US or country of residence and file a new application.”
My Question is if I apply for a private language center (For example: https://www.goethe.de/ins/de/en/kur/...m/kur/int.html) and then after my course is complete a university (For example: https://www.tuhh.de/alt/tuhh/startpage.html) how will I “File an application right away”?
Because: The University will need me to know german (at least B2) and the language center will teach me that. I definitely cannot be coming back to my country and again applying.
