Schenge Visa Proof of funds

Hello All,

Me and my wife are planning to apply for schengenvisa from UK on tourist purpose.

To show the 3 months bank statement, I dont have the required funds consistently. However, my wife has enough funds in her account for last 3 months.

But I am the main applicant of my UK visa.

So will it be enough if we sumbit my Wife's bank statement?

Alternatively I can buy travellers cheques for the required amount.

Which is the best option?
