New York: Delta Air Lines launched its first nonstop New York-Mumbai flight, from here last night.
Delta has entered into arrangement with Kingfisher under which, the latter will provide connecting flights to Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Ahmedabad within two hours of the arrival in Mumbai.
Airlines officials said 70% of food provided would be ethnic Indian and will include vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options.
Last year, Continental and American Airlines launched non-stop services between Delhi and Chicago/New York.
Ask your travel agent about these flights. You would save $55 on transit visas and avoid the extra security checks at the connecting airport.
