Dear Sir Or Madam,
My husband and I are travelling Air France from London Heathrow through Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport on Sunday Morning, and we will be in the airport terminal in Paris for 1 hour only before getting on our connecting flight with Air France to Johannesburg.
I have a UK passport. My husband has a South African Passport with a UK residence permit (Spouse visa with 11 months until he applies for indefinite leave to remain). He has been a UK resident since October 2005.
Does he need to get an Airport Transit Visa to travel through Charles De Gaulle Airport? We arrive and depart from Terminal 2. If so, how do we go about this given that we leave in 6 days? Or can this paperwork be completed in Paris?
We are travelling from a non Schengen country (UK) and our final destination is a non Shengen country (South Africa)
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
