I realy hope to get an answer to this questions at your earliest convinience as I am afraid to be late...
We are citizens of Moldova and permanent residents of Canada. We are planning to visit our country in May (for 10 days or so) and from there to visit Italy for two weeks. I know we need to apply for a schengen visa at Embassy of Italy. The thing is that when we fly to Moldova (change planes and tickets in Frankfurt) from Caanada, we have to check out and in at the Frankfurt airport (because the flights are not connected). In this case I also need a visa. because we don't have enouggh time to apply to both embassies, could we apply for a schengen visa at embassy of Italy from the moment we leave Canada for Europe? Do you thing we will get a visa in such a short amount of time left?
