Hello,
I am a U.S. citizen and I am graduating from my school this spring semester. I am going on a month program through my school to Madrid for the month of June, so I do not need a visa because it is less than 90 days.
Afterwards in July, I am going to start a job through a company that already has agreed on letting me work there. I have been working on trying to obtain a work visa, which requires paperwork from the company too. I mentioned that this documentation is required in order to obtain a work visa, but they want me to get a tourist visa because they want me to stay for only 3 months. I think working with a tourist visa is illegal. Is it? Could you tell me what kind of form they have to get stamped bu the Spanish Ministry of labor?
Thank you for your help.
