I am a US citizen with a US passport and will be applying for resident permit in Sweden. I was informed it may take up to 6 months to obtain. Since my US passport allows travel for only 90 days, will I be able to travel in and out of Sweden after 90 days if I still do not have the permit yet? Will the Swedish Migration Board supply me with some sort of temp document so I can travel or will I need to stay in Sweden until I have the resident permit?
