Schengen Visa valid for Switzerland?

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am an Indian citizen and currently visiting France on Schengen Visa. We are close to Switzerland border. Can we enter Switzerland on Schengen visa or do we have to take a Swiss via. There is a bit of confusion. Highly appreciate your response.

You need Swiss visa.
