  • Schengen obtained from Germany but mainstay in Denmark

I am flying from Turkey to Germany first for 2 days (business meeting), then travelling by train into Denmark for 4 days (for a friend's wedding) and then flying out of Copenhagen-Denmark back to Turkey.

This is my first Schengen Visa and my worry is that my mainstay is in Denmark, however my schengen visa was issued by Germany. I just got it this week from the German Consulate - it's a multiple entry business visa and is my first schengen visa.

Do you think this trip will be ok, particularly travelling into Denmark by train?

    Any information appreciated.
    Thanks

    You're good ...

... don't worry about it. You won't have any problems.

Also, travelling inter-country within the Schengen borders is a breeze, especially by train.

We travelled from France through Germany via four countries by train. You go to the ra***ay or train station, buy a ticket and board the train, simple!

    Enjoy your stay.

Ok just an update for anyone else - this went all fine .

I entered Germany for 2 days, then got the train to Denmark for 4 days and flew out of Denmark back. On the train up to Denmark at the border, the border police did get on board the train and check everyones and my passports and visas and it was all fine.
