Working Schengen Visa

I got following visa:

Visa: L + Schengen States
type of visa: D + C
Number of entries: M
Duration of Stay: xxx

Remarks: B NL 1
L 01

I got it because i was a requested from a company, but now due "financial crisis", everything is in standby.
I dont want to loos the opportunity of working in Europe. Is it possible with this visa to apply for a Job in a different company? same country or different schengen country?
