Can I travel to Italy as 1st entry with Schengen visa from Holland

Hello Friends,

I have a valid single entry type C schengen visa from 14th April 09 to 7th May 09 issued by Holland embassy.

I was supposed to travel to holland from 14th to 19th april but i got my passport only by 16th so i had to cancel my holland trip.

Now I am planning to to italy in 1st week of May but I am not travelling to holland. Is it possible to do this current visa though i will not be travelling to holland during that time. I will be in itlay from 1st may to 4th Map and returning back to UK on 4th Map.

Please suggest if its possible or if there is anyother suggestion to go on this trip.

Traveling to Italy on Holland visa

Sumit -- how did it work out for you? I am in a similar situation, and wondering since my plans have changed, could I travel to italy on a schengen visa from a different country.

Any help will be very much appreciated.
