Dear All,
Please we need any help our advice for our case asap.I'm an egyptian passport holder and i recently officially get married to a belgian citizen (my wife), Socially we are having our wedding party in the begining of july in egypt. we went to the belgian embassy in egypt to legalise our egyptian marriage contract, the employee there said it will take sometime to legalise it and she don't want to give us a specific date. and i can see that she is having doubts that after the legaisation i will appy for a visa and go to live in Belgium which is not the case as my wife and i decided to live in egypt at least for a few years beacuse she wants to study arabic (as it is already her major at the university 3 years ago) also i have a decnet job in an american company in egypt and i don't have plans to leave it. Actually all our hope (specially my wife) is to spend the honeymoon in Belgium as her family wants to celebrate our marriage and may be they will do another wedding party for us there in Belgium.So to make it shorter, my question is? can i apply for Schengen Visa from embassy of france to spend like 4 days in paris and then we go to spend the rest of our honeymoon with my wife's family in Belgium provided that my marrige contract is still not legalised from the belgian emabassy but it is 100% reconized in egypt. I want to fullfill my wife's wish to spend a beautiful honeymoon and also if it work out and i have been granted this visa, it will be very helpful to reveal any doubts with this employee at the begian embassy that i have been there in france and belgium and i get back again to egypt so they can easily legalise our marrigae contract to be recognized from the belgian side too.
