Hello,
I am studying abroad in Granada, Spain this upcoming fall from the University of Washington. I have a question in regards to the need for a visa. My academic program is 84 days long, therefore I cannot obtain a student visa, but I am planning on traveling around europe for 12 days after, making my stay 96 in total. Only 84 of it will be in Spain and the other 12 days in different countries, but I am returning to Spain to fly back home at the end of the 12 days.
I am aware that tourists are only allowed to stay for 90 days, and so I was wondering if I would need to obtain a visa for these 6 extra days past the allowed tourist time ? Also, if there was a way to get a wavier for these 6 days since it it such a short amount of time over the allowance.
