Hi
I have been issued Schengen Visa's free of cost (My wife is a British Citizen) when I was resident in the UK. I have now relocated to India with my wife. Recently, when I was applying for an Orange Carpet Schengen visa (3 year multiple entry Schengen visa), the Dutch Embassy charged my company 60 euro even though I had stated that I am married to an EU national and had provided all the necessary documentation to that effect. They told the travel agent that the fees would have been waived off if my spouse was still resident in an EU country. Can anyone confirm if what the Dutch Embassy said was true and if it is not true, is there any recourse mechanism for me to get back the money or lodge a complaint with the EU authorities
Thanks
Srikanth
