Hi,

please help.

I am trying to obtain a schengen visa for my Friend who would like to visit germany in August of this year.

I am struggling to find out exactly what I need to do.

The duration of the holiday will be 5 days maximum, and will be to Germany only.

Will my friend have to visit the german embassy here in the UK? if so where is the nearest one? (I am based in Manchester).

What do I need to take with me? completed application form? which types of i.d.?
