TRAVEL TO LATVIA on SCHENGEN
I have a very good job offer in LATVIA but before I take a final decision I wish to go over there and decide. The employer is sending me the INVITATION but my query is : 
1)DO I NEED REALLY the INVITATION to apply for the visit visa to LATVIA despite the fact that I am finacially very sound.
(In the hindsight, I have the B1/B2 for USA for 10 years and visited USA thrice in the last 1 1/2 yrs.)
2)Incase I like the job/environment, can I apply for the WORK-permit/REsidence Visa in LATVIA or else do I have to come back to India to apply for the same.
BY THE WAY, HUNGARY Consulate is issuing Visa's for LATVIA
