Hello,
My parents have valid Indian passports and valid US Tourist visas. They are flying to New York from Bangalore and could find tickets that required two connections in Europe - Bangalore to Frankfurt (Lufthansa) with connection to Geneva and then Geneva to JFK (on Swiss Air). The total transit is less than 4 hours - 1hr 40minutes in Frankfurt, Germany and about 1hr 30 minutes in Geneva, Switzerland. They will not be leaving the airport during this time and there is no overnight stay involved. Do they require a Schengan Visa because of the 2 transit stops? Could you please let me know at the earliest as their travel is currently for Sept 2nd and I need to purchase the ticket by August 22nd. I don't know if there is enough time to get a Schengan visa with these dates if they need one.
Thank you. Appreciate your speedy response!
