  • About six-month period for Shengen visa

I wasn't sure of where I should post this, so I thought I might just ask around here

I'm planning to visit Poland in March 2010, and I check that I could stay 90 days visa free but there's also a rule "within a 6 months period"

The thing is, I've visited in Poland just recently in October 2009 and stayed for 36 days, and in December for 15 days, which I suppose that would leave me 39 days remaining in that 90 days maximum stay.

My current plan is to visit again in say, March 15 and stay until June 12.
The 6 months period from my last visit which is 11 October 2009 will end on 8 April 2010. So then what I am concern about is, since I have only stayed for 51 days the last time and if I am going there again on 15 March, it would mean that I won't be using up the whole 90 days max stay in that 6 months (15 March - 8 April is about 25 days..) so in total for that 6 months period I would only have stayed about 76 days.

Question is, since I didn't use up all the days, is it possible for me to just
continue my stay and remain in Poland after 8 April and stay until June?

    OR

It doesn't matter at all if I didn't use up the whole 90 days.. I have to
leave the country before 8 April ? , for short visit to UK or to a non schengen area and return so I would getthe 6 month period over again?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
