Schengen Visa Application - Question

Hi,

We are a family of four, planning to visit Europe in summer. We already obtained the Visa to visit U.K. Now we intend to apply for Schengen Visa. I have printed the form available at https://www.immihelp.com/schengen-visa/application-form-english.pdf

I am unable to proceed further. Should I fill up the forms and mail them to certain address, or should I apply in person? I live in Houston, U.S.A. If you can advise me on that, I would greatly appreciate it.
