Schengen Visa, proof of accomodation?

Hi, I will be traveling to France and Italy for about 10 days. My plane will land in Germany but I will take a train to Paris as soon as I arrived in Frankfurt. I went online to check the requirement for schengen visa and I have a few questions about the proof of accommodation. It says on the website that I must present a facsimile from the hotel proofing that I will stay at the hotel. It also says they do not accept email or confirmation print out. I just booked a hotel last night and it only gave me an email confirmation of the booking. Do you think this will be enough for the visa?. On the email confirmation (which I can print out) it shows one of the names of the traveler ( my mother) but it also shows that she booked a room for 3 adults (me, and my brother). Do you think this is fine? Or should I call or email the hotel to fax me something else? I think if I asked them to fax me a proof, they will fax me the same thing I received in the email.

Generally the printout of the hotel confirmation with your name on it should work. I applied for my Schengen visa 8 days back and still waiting for a reply.
