  • Travel to Paris on Scengen visa obtained from German embassy. Any problems?

I would be travelling to London and Paris this month. I am working in Bahrian. To apply for Schengen visa for Paris, the appliaciton should be made to France embassy in Bahrain as per wesite instructions.
There is some problem on the website of French embassy and it is almost impossible to get appointment there to submit the visa appication.
My travel agent suggested that I can apply from German embassy and get the visa by showing there that I intend to stay longer in Germany. He suggests that when I land in paris airport, at the immigration counter I can say that I intend to go to Germany after may stay in france. Factually I will not go to Germany at all.

    Is this workable?
If so, will the authority at the Paris airport ask for the travel bookings for Germany?

visa from germany and visit to france

It really depends on what passport you are holding. If it is from Sub-continent the you definitely should have confirmed reservations. This is not a problem as most of the 4star and 5star hotels will give that to you, and these are fully refundable. The best would be if you could enter from Germany though.

If you are Indian, German immigrations quotes that "Indians break all Schegen laws" and you may or may not get in trouble. See the thread below
