Hello,
I live in Florida and I am looking to apply for a Schengen Visa. My wife and I are planning to visit the UK along with several countries this summer for vacation. I am a US Citizen and my wife is an Indian Citizen. I know I don't need a visa, but I understand that she needs to apply for a Schengen Visa in order to visit France as well other other EU countries (Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands) because she has an Indian passport.
I have reviewed all the requirements but have a a few questions. Regarding the trip reservation and detailed itinerary, I haven’t booked any transportation or hotels because we plan to backpack and take the train everywhere, we don’t know where we will be staying. Is this a requirement?
I have called the French Consulate in Miami and I have to go to the embassy and apply. Does anyone know if an embassy that I can just mail the documents to? I will be flying in less than 2 months.
