Hello!
I am traveling to Italy on 21 Sep 2019. My son is in the Air Force and is stationed in Aviano, Italy. I am a US citizen, and from what I have read, I don't need a Shengen VISA to travel to the specified countries in the treaty, as long as my stay is no longer than 90 days. Is this correct?
Also, I have a friend that would like to go, and she is a legal resident of the United States. She has a passport. Being that she is not a US citizen, does she need a Shengen VISA?
Italy being our port of entry, we would also like to try to visit at least Spain and France.
Thank you for your prompt response and sending us any information that would be helpful.
