Travelling to Italy on Finland business visa (schengen visa)

Hi,

I am an Indian and I have a valid Schengen Business visa to Finland (issued by Finland consulate in india). I would like to know whether I could travel directly to italy on this Schengen Business visa issued by Finland. Is it legal to travel to italy directly using this visa or I am required to travel to Finland first and then travel to Italy?
