Hi!
I need some advice for the invitation and application of my palestinian boyfriend for a schengen visa to Germany.
He is 29 and lives in Nablus in the Westbank. I´m worried that he´ll not get the visa because he is unemployed and doesn´t have any money at the moment. So I will send him money so that he can book the flight tickets, make the insurance etc... I will make my dad invite him as my salary is not very high right now and my dad´s salary is much better.
So, I guess it´s not very probable that they´ll give him the visa anyway, but we want to try and not make any mistakes. So, what do you think is the best reason why he wants to come? Somebody told me that just tourism is probably not enough and we should think of something else? The truth -that we are a couple and might want to get married in the future- is probably not a very good idea, right? If he makes up a reason in the interview, will they check and find out that it´s a lie?
Do you know if it´s easier to get the visa if you´re trying it with a language school? I mean, if he will enroll for a german course then the school will invite him.
And how long does it normally take until you get an interview appointment at the embassy?
Just give me any kind of advice. Anything that we can do to make it a bit more probable that he´ll get the visa.
thank you!!!!!!!
