Hello,
I need some help on exceeding visa duration. My schengen tourist visa is valid for 2 months but I am allowed total duration of stay for 30 days.
I have a valid UK business visa and I was suppose to be in London for 1.5 months. And during the weekends I was planning to visit my wife in Paris (she is in Paris for work purpose) and also visit other schengen countries with her. So as per plan, in all my total duration of stay in schengen territories was not exceeding 10 days during 1.5 months as I was only visiting schengen countries during weekends.
Somehow my business trip in London got cancelled and now I have to stay in Paris for 37 days. So, I am exceeding 7 days on my tourist schengen visa. Also, the day on which I am completing my 30 days duration, I am flying to Italy. Its a planned trip over there for 2 days. I'll back to Paris after 2 days and after 4-5 days I have my flight back to home country.
What do I do now? Any grace period? Is there a way I can extend it?
