Marrying an Austrian

I am going to be getting married to an Austrian citizen fairly soon. I am American and have obtained all the needed papers to legally do so, but I was wondering if there is anyone that has done this as well?

My questions are: What do I need to do afterwards in terms of Visa/ID card? If I have a current Visa with Austria do I need to change it before I get married?

I would appreciate any information that I can get.
