Confusion on filling up German (Schengen) Visa form

I am a non-US citizen (on L1) applying for Schengen visa from US for Germany. I have a doubt what to fill up in:

18. If you reside in a country other than your country of origin, have you permission to return to that country?
No Yes (number and period of validity)

Shall it be:
- Visa Number
OR
- Control Number
OR
- my current admission number <= Though, this will no longer be valid after I depart US for Germany. Since while re-entry I will get new admission number.

Please help.
