I've noticed some conflicting information about transit visas between the French consulate and this website that I'm hoping somebody could clarify. I'm headed to India to renew my H-1B which is currently expired and would prefer to travel on a flight that goes through Paris with a 2-3 hour layover.
Here's an excerpt from the French consulate's website in DC that states I don't need a transit visa.
2- Do I need an airport transit visa ?
If you hold one of the following documents, you DO NOT NEED an airport transit visa, whatever your nationality:
expired visa issued by the United States of America if you are leaving this country and your final
destination is your own country.
The Immihelp link https://www.immihelp.com/foreign-tra...ia-usa-travel/, however, states that I do. What gives??
Any help/clarification is appreciated.
Thanks!
