H1B expired in 2011 can I use the remaining now?

I appeared for visa interview on Aug 30, 2010 and received 221g green form. I submitted the documents on Sep 14, 2010.

Would like to know how much time does it 221g clearance take as my client in US is getting too anxious ?

Hi, Could anyone throw more light on this. Does anyone have any idea about this new rule about companies hiring H1b employees that only employers having direct clients can sponsor H1B? Legal gurus please elaborate.
