Need help to understand if I can file 8th year h1B extension based on the fact that I-140 is still pending with USCIS. I already had 7th year extension approved based on that fact. Any information regarding this would be helpful.

I received a 7th year extension before completion of 6 years of H1B. It was due to Perm pending for > 365 days. The 7th year ends on 3/21/17 after capturing of all duration outside US.
